Instructor – Guitar
Zach plays is the lead guitarist in The Patwa Reggea Band, one of the more popular bands in Park City. He is self-taught musician who specializes in Blues and Reggae as well as dabbling in slide guitar. An avid learner himself, Zach teaches for the love of the guitar and spreading music throughout the town.
Instructor – Guitar, Mandolin, Banjo
Elliot graduated from Colorado College with a degree in Music. He is remarkably talented and well trained musician and is currently playing several bands including Downright Citizens, Honkey Blue Tonkey and Donner Pass. He can teach all musical genres, but specializes in folk, bluegrass, and jazz. Elliot teaches guitar, mandolin and banjo.
Instructor – Guitar, Mandolin, Ukulele
Steve is the former State Park Director of nearby Rockport State Park where he also produces the annual Dam Jam event. He is a member of the cowboy bluegrass band Red Desert Ramblers and he specializes in bluegrass music. Steve teaches guitar, mandolin and ukelele.
Instructor – Bass
Lucas is the bass player in the band Upright Citizens. He is a very talented bassist who can play and teach both acoustic and electric bass. Don’t be frightened by his enormous hands, their alarming size helps him handle his instrument with ease.
Instructor- Violin, Fiddle, Guitar
Gabriel graduated with an MA in Music History from University of California, Santa Cruz. He specializes in Baroque violin and Celtic music but is also versed in common practice classical music as well as Bluegrass and Canadian, “Quebecois” fiddle playing.
Instructor – Voice
Nicole is an accomplished singer songwriter and performing artist from NYC. She has sang, played, and written professionally for over 13 years for various
productions including Showtime commercials, the upcoming Pete Seeger Tribute, two self written records, one recorded under Sony music in NYC, to name a few. Nicole has a BA in performing arts and has studied with great music masters, such as Nancy Marano from Manhattan school of music, Jeremy Wall from Spyro Gyra, Al Roberts from Juilliard, the list goes on. She has taught voice for over 10 years and is offering voice lessons to all experience levels. Her method includes breath/physical work, ear training, and artistic approach. www.nicoleparadiso.com
